CARDROME Bike Training is Essex's leading motorcycle training school, based in Hornchurch and conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from Elm Park underground station with direct bus access. The school serves aspiring and developing riders aged 16 and above, offering comprehensive motorcycle training from introductory courses through to advanced full licence qualifications.
What sets CARDROME apart is their exclusive 12-acre purpose-built training facility—a significant advantage that most competitors lack. This dedicated site enables instructors to teach high-speed manoeuvres, emergency stops and swerve avoidance exercises at approximately 35mph without students needing to practise on public roads. The circuit features major and minor road junctions, roundabouts, zebra crossings, dedicated off-road areas for slow manoeuvres and left/right-hand bends, allowing students to build confidence in a controlled environment before progressing to real roads.
The school is distinguished by its team of highly qualified instructors led by an experienced chief instructor with decades of teaching experience. All instructors are DVSA Cardington Assessed, DAS qualified and hold DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme accreditation—standards that exceed industry norms. Operating seven days a week, CARDROME emphasises that safety is paramount and that they don't cut corners on quality instruction or facilities.
