MMT Motorcycle Training is the largest motorcycle training school serving South Durham and the Cleveland area, established in 2004 by founder Mike Poad. Based in Darlington (DL1 2NA), the school has grown from three instructors to a team of 12 staff members, with 10 dedicated instructors—five of whom hold Cardington approval to deliver Direct Access training.
The business caters to riders at all levels, from complete beginners through to experienced motorcyclists seeking advanced skills. They specialise in CBT (Compulsory Basic Training), Direct Access licensing, Module 1 and 2 test preparation, and advanced rider training.

Beyond training, MMT offers comprehensive workshop services including maintenance, repairs, tyre fitting, and MOT preparation. Graeme Ward, a factory-trained technician with extensive experience, runs this operation.
